Amicalola Falls State Park

 

 

Usually People Hike to the Hike Inn to get away from the city for the night, we decided to hike to it just for fun.

 notice it says average 3 hours, Christine says 3 hours mom we will do it in 2, we're Hannigan's

It was a great day, We had originally planned to just hike the 650 stairs to the top of the falls, but the kids thought it would be fun to "HIKE" to the hike inn. It was fun getting there, but by the last mile of the hike our legs were jello. When we arrived to the car we looked at the GPS that Cameron had been tracking and it said 14.88. Yes we hikes 14.88 miles in 5 hours. So we headed home to rest and eat. Thank goodness we have  Saturday and Sunday to recover.
